- Los Blancos want the former Argentine footballer to replace embattled Zinedine Zidane
Reigning Spanish and European League champions Real Madrid have reportedly made Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino as their target in case Zinedine Zidane leaves the club.
Los Blancos are even said to have contacted the 45-year-old former Argentine footballer over the possibility of him replacing Zidane at the Bernabeu.
This season, Real Madrid have not been finding it rosy in the Spanish La Liga as they currently sit fourth on the table and 19 points behind leaders and bitter rivals Barcelona.

They have also been dumped out of the Copa del Rey by cross-city minnows Leganes this week to make matters worse for them.
Real Madrid's only chance of winning any title this season will now be in the UEFA Champions League where they will face Paris-Saint-Germain in the round of 16 clash.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly interested in working under current Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp.
The Portuguese international is said to have told Real Madrid chiefs to contact Jurgen Klopp as a replacement should embattled Frenchman Zinedine Zidane decide to leave.
There have been reports that Zinedine Zidane could leave Los Blancos following the club's unimpressive performance this season in the Spanish La Liga.
